Content & Domain Abuse Procedures
1. Website Content Takedowns
As a hosting provider, Scouting Site™ operates on a "Notice and Takedown" basis. If we receive a valid notification regarding illegal content (including copyright infringement, defamation, or breach of UK-GDPR) hosted on a .scoutingsite.org.uk subdomain or a custom domain pointed to our servers, we will follow our standard verification and removal process.
Reporting Abuse
To report copyright infringement, illegal content, or domain abuse, please contact our email address with subject "ABUSE" this will automatically route your response to the correct place:
Reports sent to this address are monitored with high priority. Please include the infringing URL, a description of the violation, and your contact details.
2. Safeguarding & Immediate Action
Scouting Site™ maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy for content that violates safeguarding standards. We reserve the right to take down any website or domain immediately and without notice if it contains content that poses a risk to children or vulnerable adults.
Safeguarding & The Yellow Card
Legal Disclaimer: Scouting Site™ is an independent platform. We are not part of The Scout Association (TSA) or Scouts Scotland. However, we strictly support their Yellow Card Policy.
If you see a safeguarding concern on any site hosted here, you must report it directly to the UK HQ Safeguarding Team. The Yellow Card requires everyone to report concerns immediately to ensure risks are minimised.

3. Response Times
Our compliance team aims to acknowledge all reports received at [email protected] within 24 hours. If the report is valid, we will initiate the takedown process as outlined in Section 1.
